Bud Rd Chamband -> Soncieux. Would seem to be T. platyphylla Scop since the hairs in axile of bf veins beneath are white. But note that very young buds are as many as 7 or 8 in inf. Twigs, petioles & surfaces of lobes glabrous and (20x) show only occasional traces of longial, tufted hairs. Veins beneath show a few hairs and tufts on the axils are evident to eye. Even a very young leaf looks shining & glabrous & is usually very oblique at base (one side having no lobe or nearly none). Largest of 9.5 x 9 cm. B. Bud (as well developed as in A) Rd Chamband - Soncieux (higher than A at point where rd makes sharp turn) Hairs white. Differs from A 1. Young twigs & petioles & lobes beneath conspicuously soft & shaggy with tufts of longial hairs. These, but clearly however.
