Ducey whether this maybe asp. plataniifolius Romyn. Force SVKI 267, SVKII/20 (Basel) not cd. Bracts large at lf. has middle seg. cut only to 1cm of base and lateral segs. only to 2 cm of base! These segs. will (Cote) but rather more narrowly elongated at tips. L vs abov this base still more def. elongated, narrow, entire tips, the very uppermost being narrow entire throughout. Peduncles (even 3. buds) practically glabrous with only a few long, ± sinuous (geschlingelt) hairs, certainly with no spreading appressed short hairs (aside for aspaeonitifolius). These hairs may be as long as peduncle is thick. Only lowest fl in each will now developed with ped of 2-3cm which is ± the length of outbending bract. Fl 28 mm diam. Petals have nectary appendage 3mm (or slightly less) long which is tubular (1mm) at base villus then
