Sepals very sharp, slightly scarious at tip (in edges also ± acc to position inner outer -) but the hairs exceeding the tips. Petals with few hairs on edges at base. Note that (a±2) the infl. is less glomerate than all Cots (more like III #85) and that while pedicels of lower fl. are shorter than the bracts (Cots) in the upper fl. pedicels are longer than bracts this not longer than calyx. 5-5-34 Cerastium vulgatum L. & 363, BvH 74, III #86 Bor 52 = C. triviale Link Cots I 218 = C. caespitosum Gilit SvkI 238 Fl & fr. Villerouge-Bonnereat. Plant with very difflote than C. viscosum in that: (1) hairs are much darker green v prominently nar- rower x 2½x darker or reddish; pedicels obviously longer than fl. The lower bracts are completely herbaceous, but the upper ones are narrowly scarious. Sepals (at least the inner ones) def scarious at tip so that no hairs exceed the tip. Sepals much slender than in C. viscosum. Hands more. 5-5-34 Saxifraga tridactylites L. Cots II 133, Bor 115, BvH 75, SvkI 335 Unripe fl. Collected un- consciously with Cerastium semidecandrum. At 4cm high. Basal & upper fl as well as bracts entire but 2nd. leaves show the well-known 3-lobes. There at. two 3mm long. Plant had 2 fls which one is forming fl.
