5-5-34 Cerastium semidecandrum L. Corte 217, Box 52, BvH 74 AllII#84, #383, SvK I 238. F2. Villeneuve -Bouveret (Perhaps in marsh behind? Bouveret Plage) growing in moss. Plants 2-6 cm with very slender annual roots. Bracts ½-¾ of their length scarious (evident to eye), & short hairy, the hairs on upper part tipped with tiny spheriod gland. St. simple, erect. Lest leaf at [nowdry] form a sort rosette. I've [illegible] watered. These basal lvs over-all 6-7 mm v also feel more like AllII #83 (C. pumilum Curt). Stlvs oblong- or slightly ovate, obtuse 6-5 x 3 mm. Calyx about 5 mm, pal about 7 mm long when open. Teeth almost 1mm long v effect as in AllII #84 with calyx lobes not closely appled and sometime laccerate at tip. Longest pedicels 10 mm but other pedicels (fr ripe fr) only 5 mm long. Sepals def scarious (1mm atleast) at tip. Pedicels of delayed fr. stiffly ascending in most cases. Villeneuve-Bouveret (Perhaps in marshy bruch just south of Noille). Sts 1/2 to 1 in high. several from a slender root. Its fresh green color & broad lvs give it a look very dif from C. vulgatum. Bracts all herbaceous with not trace / scariousness
