5-1-34 Sepals with more greenish tinge than in A
(where they are almost as golden yellow as petals). This
gives the inf. esp. in early stages a greener look than
in A tho' the petals are nearly of same shade.
Petals 2½ mm wide in B (3 mm wide in A) which makes
petals of B more oblong in effect. Pistil style is merely
open and fl. fully 1mm. A in similar stage has style
½ mm very late not more than ¾ mm. Ovary in
B more narrowly oval than in A where it is more
nearly spherical. B in the Droye garden seems to
fl. later than A to stand straighter (perhaps also
taller) making a less spreading bunchy effect.
Ovary glabrous in both A & B. Neither B.M.J.C.P
nor S.V.H. throw any light on these differences.
R. concludes they are merely diff forms of cult. if
B is perennial. If B is annual no guess as to
identity.

wider than filaments (not "narrower" as in L.vedicia

only a little wider than style v tapering into the style.
Upper two sepals. Fls odorless.
