inflexed tip. Stylopodium almost as high as stiles
with styles erect v contiguous [at S] (in C. silvestris
the stylopodium is flat, the styles at first lying
flat v do they become erect the stylopodium div.

Both plants from sturdy root with many sts from top root-
stock. B has at vls with same stary verticle planes as
A but fewer of them so that effect is less softly gray.
Branches infra rather shorter than in A the pedicels
equally fine. Stems Filaments of B all appendaged at
base as in A but appendages less strongly developed,
sapals.
