Appendage to seed (asless S.VT) and widely divaricate refracted branches of inf and wide basal brv make ident. sure. But note that peranth now is on 3 mm long. (SVK say 4mm.) 4-24-34 Viola silvestris Lamk Fl. Planwood and V. Riviniana Ruviniana Rebb. Fl. Planwood and on slope west of pig-house V-M. (See 4-19-34 for df and note that today hairiness style seems more as less SVT.) Note also that frequently in the many spec. V. silvestris observed studied this spring the spur (rather slender and darker than the petale) tilted downward the effect being produced largely by the curve of the upper edge. This in some spec which fitted no other less, this char. was not evident
