5-23-31 Crepis maculata L. Cote III 404, Box 311, BVH 460 Fl. Lilion. Frequent at Chambland. Ident. sure but note bracts (lower ones a little longer than ovary not as long as flo v upper ones about as long as ovary) are obscurely nervd (lower 3-nervel) not at all “eu riscal” (Cote). (Box says about same length). St, while not def. hollow, has open places incuts, and has small lanceolate, spreading fl-like bracts quite or almost to top. Its perfectly marked with oblong horizontal stoles. Fls in ramping abode of pale lilac.
