Glands yellowish green except the central older ones which are def. red. (In these red glands the white almonwood side readily separates from the fleshy upper part.) Tubercles vary in shape & size but some cylindrical to 1 mm. 5-14-31 Ranunculus nemorosus DC. (See 5-12-31) Fl. Glab. Thick rootstock horizontal with fleshy white rootlets & filamentous fibrous remains of old sts. Plant like (5-12-31) except 30cm high (certainly more normal height), and pubes- ce varied. Lvs larger (to 4 cm across) and the sinuses bet the crenate lobes wider. Flo 8cm diam, pedicel always 5. Carpel was (5-12-31) strongly bordered.
