5-12-31 Polygonatum multiflorum All. Cote II 352 Box 361 = 71—Involuc. BvH 474. Red, Chambly. St quite round except for very slight valist ridge decreasing from base to tip. File fine below upwards in groups 1: 2-3-3-2-2-1-1. Perianth now 6mm long. The very short filaments pass. will be hairy but style is glabrous. (see 5-18-31) 5-12-31 Colchicum autumnale L. Cote III 300, Box 297, BvH 485, BMQC P161. Lvs visoripe fo Chambly 2 spee only found in 1 clump ie bulb growing from near base of an old withered bulb. (a) Lvs 2, 8"x1½in; Capsule 1, 1¾in high, pointed with remains of 3 styles. The 3 carpels adhere below summit, separated (b) Lvs 4, 11x2½in, Capsules 3. Note: only whole bulb collected oblique at base as ill. (Cote) Embryos placenta along edges where the 3 carpels join now [illegible] 5-12-31 Allium ursinum L.
