Transcription
regular, the slender teeth longer than tube, the
upper teeth def. scale shaped & curved to clear
the narrower lower teeth rather less so. F. 2 4-
10 mm long, well exceeding calyx, opening only
on upper side, 3-seeded (in capsules studied?)
calyx of ten perfoliate. No decisions as to which
of the 4 species into which SVK I divides M. pratense
is too 2.

Districts, Fl purple. Pods very spreading, 40 to 5 1/2 in long.
Seeds with thin edged top & a complete seed on other side
& partition.

Seeds with lateral lobes more def reflexed than all Cote v BVH VIII
& relatively to terminal lobe larger. Seed like all Cote) with
wings twice as broad as seed & far surpassing styles.
