Species queried only because extra glabrous & the rather firm tips to leaf lobes might poss be called "spiny". If glabrous except on venasabor, more def. pub. cremose beneath. Bristle's large calyx lobes elegantly veined green v margin less strongy at tips. Diffein calyx lobe 2 in or more long entire or scarcely notched at apex; lower lobe 1/2 in or more long def. notched at apex. The finner calyx lobes orbicular 1/2 in high. These all seem separate quite to base. 9-18-31 Decum. Fl. on wall along old road behind Chateau Aigle. Perennial with thickish decumbent branches 5-4 in long of ten rooting, often roughened but not pubescent. Branchles now naked below with short internodes giving a ringed appearance. Leaf lobes more crowded into a 4-lb. rosette at tip of branch. Lvs thick, flat almost sessile, largest 15X3mm (in center) rosette much smaller), cuneate at base (i.e. half or more length) and the rest rounded, def crenulate above, papillose on edges (these pimples near suggesting hairs
