9-6-31 Inula - L. Box 171, BVH 549 F8 immature. Bouveret-Noville. Head Indian [illegible] disk division [diam.] St very br. branching only at top. Less crinkly. Stamens plainly appendaged. Pappus base floccose evident even in young fs. Achene pubescent. 9-6-31? Crepis nicacensis Bell. Cate II 445, Box 190, SAI 731/1=8v young fs. Bouveret-Noville. 32 inch high. L fy below with long, narrow, reniculate primatified ± pubescent ho. St rather hairp'd below, roughly def grooved above, tending to be scabed above & branched only near top. Invol 10mm high (8v). its bracts glabrous inside. Outer bracts spreading. Longest achene now 5mm above no angle of beak, rits persist not more than 10. St ho cut into narrow lobs, scible but not auriculate. Claspings head about 3 cm diam when open. Pappus white, denticulate. 9-6-31 Quercus Robur. BMBCP231, SVI 300, BVH 422 II/II #393: Q. pedunculata. F. kll. Cate III 259, Box 285 F2 Bouveret-Noville. Petioles 5mm. to def. auricled at base. Pedicule 4 cm.
