Naye, Achenes very flat, slightly obovate, 6x5 mm, with style
? about 1½ mm ± reflexed along one edge. Achenes red dried
brown, glabrous.

not same plant). Ligules on young sterile shoots at base
short vs truncate, ligule on culm in elongated vacuole.
Spiklets 6 mm, lemma 4-5 mm. Lemma with very
pubescent or least (towards middle) on edges (below middle)
± slightly pubescent on surface between, occasional tips,
nut well by at base.
