Herbs erect, to no rooting branchless, but from base elongated stolons which bear lvs (S VKI) + fls on short axillary peduncles. Lvs absolutely nonging stipules. Petals rounded at tip (SVK) not at all notched. Sepals erect in fs. but not closely ap- polated (Coats). Plant glabrous in effect but branchlets to with some hairs; fs with spreading hairs.
