7-22-31 peduncles found in S.L.- Calyx cut to base with no more def. leaf than S.P. See KSI 295 fn dese. of this hybrid. 7-22-31 Graphalium silvaticum L. Coste 331, Box 172, B & A 240, & 823 Fl. Belowjaman. Diff to decide whether this is H. norvegicum Gurnm. St 36 cm. Lvs green abov with traces of cottony pubescence (20x) Lvs on shorts (at base) 5 x 1 cm, attenuate at base not df. petioled, obscurely 3-nerved, oblancolete. Lvs near base as similar but only 8 mm wide, only 1 nerve visible. Lvs midway about same length but 5 mm wide Lowest lf subtending flo. 4 cm x 3.5 mm. (H. says brdth of base 5mm wide) Diff 7cm high, spaced below, denser at top. Bacts invl. very dark at nr tips, yellow- ish-green ish at base. 7-22-31 Pimfomella magna L (See 6-6-31) Flv young fs. Richers de Naye. Seems only pos with lvs 1-pinnate (see Costa 120). Fts bright pinkle. Odr faintly suggesting celery. 7-22-31 ? Meum Mutellina Lacerda Coste II/86, Om/38 = Ligusticum --- Cr S&K I 499 Flv young fs. Richers de Naye (Perhaps this was the pinkle Zumbelfler seen atjaman 6-72031? later. Not recorded in notes)
