Oilon Fl shining red but near apex traces of light glandular hairs barely joined at base. Reacts to back- lets persistent, the latter now red. 7-14-31 Stapylea pinnata L (See 5-18-31) F-2 Shrub on grounds of Temple, Oilon. 7-16-31 Lathyrus silvestris L. Coote I 402, Bon 88, BTH 131, BM] CP 393 Fl Road Oilon-Ledivants shortly beyond Cafe des Narcisses. Stipules 1/2 in long x 2mm wide, not foliaceous as in L. latifolius. Fls smaller v more dlingy; keel green. Standard green veined but "green apart on back" not as def. as suggested by BTH and BM] CP. 7-16-31 Mentha silvestris L. Coote III 80, Bon 249, BAR CP 645 = M. longifolia Huds. BTH 337, G 7/10, SAI I 576 Far gl. Road Oilon-Ledivants by brook shortly beyond Cafe des Narcisses. Whole plant vastly boary. Lvs longer & narrower than ill (Coote and BTH) to 3 1/2 x 1 in. Petioles sometimes 5mm.
