Calyx glabrous 4 x 4+ mm high, sepals purplish on edges, 2 of them slightly sae-blue at base. Petals 9mm x 3 mm at tip, slightly Emarginate, spreading in antheris so that fl is almost 1 cm across. Stamens purplish toward tip. Petals very. Pods will be much longer than wide vs many seeded (See 5-3-31 4-20-31 Cardamine pratensis L. Cote I 105, Bon 37, BvH 33. H 4-36, BMQC P 906 Fl. lion. St hollow. The white root- stock bearing "small fleshy scales or tubers" (BvH). Some of larger older basal tuber bear on upper side fraclin at axils of lfts, pointed green tubercous projections each terminating in a fibre which may be a root let (about 1cm long), st often with what seem minute abortive infl in axila 4-22-31 Veronica Chamaedryp L. Cote III 34, Bon 295 BvH 348, H 727 Fl. lion. Corolla tube slightly hairy inside in front. Style & filaments blue . Corolla 12 mm across, ? deep bright blue 4-22-31 Veronica persica, Poir Cote III 35, Bon 297, BvH 349 = V. Buxbaumii. Ten = V. Tournefortii C.C.
