7-5-31 Veronica fruticulosa L. Cate #30 Bon 236 SuKI 593, Bon H346 Fl young fr. Deutde Jaman. Fls 12-15mm aces, pale pink wth bright carmine lines esp on upper petal, greenish yellow in center. No corolla? V. saxatilis 6-30- 31 to see if smaller (BVH). Cf otherwise with V. saxatilis 8 6-30-31. Plant ? duller green. Lvs lvs tapered v more nearly petioled at base, acute instead rounded at apex, slightly folded forward on mid-nerve instead of flat, and rather erect. Upper parts esp pedicels & calyx gland-pub. v shedding to be reddish. Styles 7mm. SuKI 232 7-5-31? Hypecochila repens L. Cate I/89) Bon 46, BM, C.P.265. St & Fl. Deutde Jaman. Styles 3 and calyx cut to about 1/3 length from top (if not this only other pars seems Mockeringia f polygonoides Mert & Koch Cate I 206 = M. ciliata della Torre SuKI 248 and pub= Cremaea polygon- oides Wulf Bon 49) St creeping, slightly under-ground, almost woolly. Lvs right sts about 3in lvs linear, glabrous, glaucous; thine at base & v flowerless tufts, about 18 X 1.5 mm., pointed at apex (and perhaps at base), thine on st. shoots; all thick the l nerv often obscure. And still (Coate), but (u+s) less impressive. Calyx
