Corolla 25 mm longest meas. v 17 mm spread at mouth. Seeds w/ def. tail-like appendage-twisted v translucent. In orbus this is only a small pro- hubence. 4-18-31 Corydalis solida Smartz Corte I 66. Scale brt., incised bracts v pedicellals all v deac. Cate. [illegible] 4-18-31 E.pinedium See B.M.J.CP. 289, Box 11, BVH/16 for genus. Might be thought E. alpinum L. Box 11 except that ffs are pale yellow. Fls in raceme. At this stage plant consists of a naked bairy st. 8&2 in long from top of which springs very young &and infl. Fls on slender pedicels (1.5-2cm long) subtended by small bracts sometimes with another similar bract or pedicle v 2 similar bracts immediately under fl. (sometimes so close as to seem part of perianth). Sepals 8 of which the outer 4 are smaller & greener & like the adjacent pair of bracts fall early in anthesis. The 4 inner
