6-25-31 Pulleylia Vulneraria L. (See 4-16-31) Fl. blion. Inflated belly, partly transparent, showing dark brown pod inside. Pod flat 5 x 3.5 mm on very slender stalk 2.0 mm. Seed one. 6-26-31 Verbena Officinalis L. Coste II 141, Bon 258, BVH 375, G688 Fl. Blion. Stigma 2-lobed: one like heart-shap- flat top, the other blunt tooth. (We perhaps the tiny heart is the 2-lobed stigma on style which is twist- ed shortly below apex.) the style looking somewhat as if made of 2 parts grown together [9-25-34 Cattle pure white very in waste land with plants of normal color] 6-26-31 Vicia dumetorum L. Coste I 386, Bon 86 Earl, fl. Blion. Rd Mont Fleur to V-M farm. St. very angular (at base really winged) short-hairy or rugose on angles. Petioles & peduncles angled. Largest flt- 45 x 23 mm; lfts decreasing in size toward bud, fl. all mucronate. Buds 15 mm overall, reddish pur- ple. Stamen tube not very oblique. Style densely bearded in tuft on back, the stigma short 6-26-31 Campanula rapunculoides L. Coste II 500 Bon 199, BVH 586, XL 767, BM.CP. 742 Rs Fl. Blion.
