No question, ident as antlurus v Aigma exactly like ill Cote. with a green thickness between the 2 pollen cells. Lowest fl 2 cm tip to tip; lips 1/4 x 3mm, spur 4cm long. 6-18-31 Astragalus glycyphyllus L. Cote I 367, Bon 82, B5H/23 F-L. woods above Valmont village. Ident as sure as paw without fr. &x glabrora Petioles, lifts beneath with short stiff white appressed hairs. lfts 13, oval, entire, hardly apiculate 3-4 x 2-2.5cm. Lower stipules united, super separate. Fls 1cm long on pedicels 1/3mm n-bis subtended by fragile subulate bracts 1/3 of 3-4 mm. young fr. or another spec. shows pod com- pletely divided by tridented border suture. 6-18-31 Stachys alpina L. Cote #119, Bon 253 F-L. blme near bridge east of Val-Mont farm. Cf'd with S. silvatica L. Fls open yellowish with reddish markings v turn a rather dingy rose-red. Lvs similar to S. silvatica but oblong (instead broad) & bluntier at apex. St. 2-filty gland- and more rugos
