Calyx lobes 2 in long, gland-hispid, very narrow in middle, then expanded into rather globose sides, not later, resembling those of P. nitida but longer. Pedicels & calyx tube toward base sparsely gland-spriny. Calyx lobes spreading when petals fall off to show thick disk.
