A 373 7-17-30 Rosa. Pass same plant as above. Seems to differ only in that on young growth infra-atipular spines often lacking B 374 7-17-30 Rosa PMS same plant as the above. No prickles on older wood (on the branch as cut) and on young growth infra-atipular spines entirely lacking. 375 7-17-30 Rosa nitida Willd 496, BVB# 385 FL RR just no. of Black Duck. C 376 7-17-30 Rosa FL RR (soile & ast side) just no. of Black Duck. Old wood with about downward-bent, large basal spines with many similar small spines between. Young growth unarmed except that gracilis much less armed with all but spines. Stipules much like P. virginiana (dilated, with both some gland-tipped, & stiff hairy on racilia) but larger gracilus pubercent on back. Lfts 7-9 somewhat distinct by petiolulats, dark green volining above, much larger than P. virginiana (above) 1 1/2-2 in.
