Pr. F 238 = 451 6-5-30 Salix ♀ fls. North side logan the next in low down stream from E., 13-15 ft high, many stems from base, branched habit more or less of lilac, Aments on short spinif. lateral branchles. St also plentifully lvd with similar lvs on short new lateral branches. Lvs like AvB (6-4-30) in teeth, tip & general appearance more nearly oval elliptic, glabrous; the same prominuous silky white hairs at base of new traps Branches like AvB in being smooth & shining brown or oliv drab mostly below pubescent at bips (some of pubescence a little rugose). Scales brown & belwo middle with long white silky hairs (straight not wavy as in AvB). Pedicel 2+ as long as gland. Very glabrous, tapering to point & Style which may be considered rather less than 1mm. Stigma lobs notched. Perhaps same sp. as AvB. & Pr. 239 = 45-2 6-5-30 Salix ♀ fls North J Extend another small logan..13-15 ft high, many st. from base all with many wand like shoots. Aments on short sp in tipy shoots. Lvs are rather more developed ¾ in long, narrowly ov-l, 15- tine at apex, narrowed at base, mostly entire (with some very few low gland tipped teeth)
