?Thalictrum alpinum L. G), BvB II/118 Chiffle
with fragments of fr., strongly corroborating this
ident. Close inspection of many plants 7-28 and
again 7-28 revealed no sign of flowering. Today's
search brought to light only this bit of evidence.

?Juncus stygius L. var. americanus Buchenau
G 278 inc. in fr.—L. BvBI 475 F2. with abov.
Ident almost sure. Queirled only because the
very slender lf-blades are certainly nodulous
if not septate (this would agree with BvB throst
with G); stem, this looking naked above the
middle has as inconspicuous acicular
lf (about 1/4 in long) within about 1 3/4 in of base
of infl.; bract about as long as infl. (as desc G, not
exceeding flo òr desce. will BvB), Lvs not channelled
at least at lvs seem rather to be relatively flat.
Steml. Heads usually 1 (one case 2), fleshy 1-3.
