These agree with desc i.e. white, glabrous; red & black pubescent (20x) Note: "Red" has a reddish tinge to bark & its fine slant twigs give no whitish glaucous look to foliage on tree. In "Black" the branches toward tips (not the new growth) are blackish and as Charlie says the "bushes" (i.e. ends of branches) are more curly than in the "White" R.B.K. observes that the "black" is a more gaunt- looking tree than the "white".
