(BvB) with more shorter v less naked branches than A. h. cep in lowest whorl. Spiklets (20x) show traces of purple color but panicle still silvery-green rather than mere-brown [black A. h.? A. c.] in general effect. 7-27-37 Rhennus alniifolia L'Her. G 561 Fz. Pott bet. spring v D.P. Cabin. 7-28-37 Marsh across river from Dump Pool. Same region as 7-12-37. 9/12 Utricularia intermedia Hayne G 737 FL 113 ? Utricularia minor L. G 737, BvB III 228 young fl & bud. L vs not "briety acumulate" as in U. intermedia Scape very slender, 11 in long, bears 10 flos (the lowest 3 1/2 in above base of scape. Pedicels very slender, ± 5 mm long, show tendency to be "recurved" in fs. [Cannot tell if fs is really forming properly the corolla if one existed fallen]. Upper part fl. in bud wholly almost ready to open. Lower lip 4mm long. No spur. Calyx lobes 1-1/2 mm long. L vs fewer, finer valves.
