No sight spike other than the ridges (could this be stripe adherent to raclis?) on raclis the top of which bears the perigynia. Achenes 3-angled, not smooth, 2 mm long. 8-25-30 Empetrum nigrum. L. #551, BYB#479 Fr v without flo. Note: Flo have 3 petals, 3 calyx lobes v beneath these 3 bracts v beneath those 2 bracts. Bracts come off with fr or remain on stem. 8-26-30 Callitriche palustris L. #558 BYB#478 Unique fr. In pond by No 2nd Camp. Entirely submerged, about 12 in high, leaves linear 15 x .5 mm. Stigmas deciduous but fr. (xT.S.) about as wide as high. 530 8-25-30 Potamogeton epihydryus Raf. #72 BYB#479 77. Very young fr. In pond with above.
