Scales def. rusty pubescent on exposed portions below wings glabrous, dark purplish, 1/3 mm over- all wing 6mm wide. 8-25-30 Picea canadensis BSP (see 6-11-30) Eurpae f2. Etched or Cracked Rd west of Joz Hulan's. Seed wing 7mm over all, wing 4mm wide, pale straw color. 8-25-30 Picea mariana BSP (see 6-11-30) Eurpae f2. With abrs. Seed wings like P. canadensis except wing mottled minutely of purple. Inside & scales resinous pubescent in line bet the two seeds. In both Piceae fract under scale much less conspicuous than in Abies
