Seedlings 1/2 in high in a clump. Seaward bluff so. J Barachois Blk. Thought at first to be Ranunculus
cymbalariae Turcz. but lvs are often 3-parted to base,
each segment with 3-5 teeth, sharper than is us-
ual in R.C.- and for each segment sharpness
at base. St., petiole edges of lvs pinkish.

N.B. the early round lvs distinguishable from
violet lvs by the callus spots which serve as
teeth.
