Transcription
7-17-29 very fine bristle-like lvs, the much fewer
& slightly larger florets & the twisted awns that
are exserted. Culms 1/6 in high [7-2-17-29 Meadow
along Trout Bk to 30in high. In both cases
prolonged rachilla not found or very minute]

mouth of Baraclos Bk. Perhaps on seaward
bluffs. 5-11 in high. Spikelet 2mm long. Glumes
equal, the 1st beaked & hispidulous on upper
part of back, 2nd broader & rounded & smooth on
back. Both 1-nerved. Lemma hyaline, 3-nerved,
about 1/2 mm, very finely toothed at huncate
apex. Palet 1/2 as long as lemma & also 1-nerved.
