Very frequent on barachois at mouth of Barachois Blk as near as any vegetation to the close. Longest scape 6 in to base infl. No lvs. longer than this, widest lf. 7/8 in. No observable diff. in color or veining if fl. from lvs. I. ver-sicolor (1) 7-2-29]. Petals slight v tubular as desc., also slightly pointed. Style branches def. toothed (in I. v. entire or obscurely toothed) Sepals abruptly widened below middle into an almost orbicular blade lobes 1 3/4 in across (I. v. widens above middle into oval lobe 3/8 in or less across). Fl. 2 (some times 3) at end of scape v, in one case ob-served, a fl.-bearing peduncle issuing from the spathe which is lower on scape (all in I. v.). Plant purplish at base. Dried pods 3/4 in high, no signs of transverse
