Flowering when less than 1 inch high & general appear- once not much as generally seen but ans. dsc. esp. a sline of hairs down stem. 7-2-29 Bellis perennis L. G 799, Bu BII 402 Fl. One plant only in ditch approaching Robinsons from Ferry. [7-6-29 Growing luxuriantly in garden} Martha Jane Hulan on opp. bank] Brook where "if covered with snow they survive the winter perfectly" 7-2-29 ? Galium trifidum L. G 749, Bu BII 264 Bud Small & inadequate spec. from ditch, Robinsons near 2nd store [7-15-29 Fl. Meadow at bank Barachois Brook.
