Found near a fertile st. of E. sylvestri- cum (branches compound) but branches are simple, 3angled winged, their sheaths with 3 teeth, solid. Sheath teeth on main st. 10, sharply acuminate, brown tipped. Cross section like E. pratense Ellis or E. arvense L. G 52, but apices of silex not distinguish- able as "flat arranged in Bo. Centrum is 1mm i.e. slightly less than diam of stem. Sheaths of st not tight fitting. Would be thought E. pratense if reported from NFL (See 7-6-29) [X These in original but surely a fraction omitted] 6-20-29? Eriglosum angustifolium Rotte G 197, BvBI 325. Fl. Sp. Blk Trail. Prodr 2nd march west of Gladys Camp. Since livs at base are 7mm wide, perhaps var. majus Schultz. Plants 3-4 1/2 dm. 6-20-29 Heracleum lanatum Michx G 631, BvBI 635. No NFL sp. Spence Blk Trail, fragment 6-20-29 Plant looks like Trifolium repens L. G 509, BvBI 358? NFL sp.
