6-20-29? Epilobium angustifolium L. G596: Chamaedendron - Sept. B1B# 570. Shoot 18 in high. No flr fr. Sp. Bl Trail. St. red at very base. The lower 11 inches bears lvs. very much reduced (to bracts). Mid-vein lvs. very distinctly white. Young lvs have margins very revolute. [Very common as observed 1429, 1430 v/1937] 6-20-29 Trientalis americana Pursh. G646, B1B#7/15. Bud. Sp. Bl Trail. In 2 spec. col. Pedicels finely gland- ular. 6-20-29 Galium No flr fr. Sp. Bl Trail. Lvs in 6's, slightly rough on mes- gin v mid-rib. Angles of st. roughened backward. Lvs D. lanceolate but not very narrow at base. Possibly G. triflorum Michx. G950, BvB#262 [Common in this region v found frequently later] 6-20-29 Gaylussacia Very young lvs. No flr fr. Sp. Bl Trail, 2nd marsh beyond Glady's Camp. St reddish brown, smooth looking but pubescent toward tip. Outer lf-bud scales red-brown, in- ner, longer ones yellowish at base with rich red tip (very striking just now) glabrous except for more less resinous dots v ciliate. Lvs glabrous above and beneath, ciliate, copiously yellow resinous
