parabola alula with handles 2 in long very like ll
(Cote) Stone rated rose with white hairs, no thickish,
gray green coming out ? but with more less
similar hairs on both faces, especially (where
lasting longest) on edges or mid-rib beneath but
finally glabrous. Sepals now reddish with
similar hairs very obvious on edges. No style as
yet developed.
3/2-32 Silene elisides l. /In ll 371, Bar 389, Box 262,
Cote II/160 to fl or fr. By steps of Villa Maria west of
Arenal. St Port as ell (Cote) Lvs in rosette, gray-green
obovate or spatulate, rounded at tip, narrowed but not
sometimes very
des. parted at base. Underside smooth, glabrous with
a few obscure lateral nerves. Lip far side with striking
irreg roughnesses like algaes plain, the lower
ones tipped white (20X) Largest of 5.5 x 2 cm overall
Young sts gray green, finely tuberculate or tinged
darker at the base. Fl buds too young to know color.

Fl Field just outside Arenal on rd to Los Angeles. Root tuber-
der, perpendicular. St his high, now only developed
but other ones starting decumbently from base.
Plant grayish & pubescent throughout but no
signs of glands or viscosity. St lvs linear
