minal one. Glenda M. rotundifolia L. collected Dakota
apx. A small blue flower trace & terpentine odor, but
with star more "mint" like but not strongly so.

Frequent in rocks by old building on line we had lunch.
Plant from 4-10 in high. Lower fleshy almost glabrous
the lower ones oblong. Fruiting umbels 1 1/2 in or less
ceros, sometimes flatter convex, but more often
nest-like. Spines on fr are so confluent at base
that that their look more like a deeply dentate
narrow wing. Spine sometimes not developed on the
in side of fr. This is evidently included in D.

Fls. 2mm diam. No stamyn at base of spines, caked
& sometimes purple. Bracts gemvolute & involute
frequently entire, linear.
