4-18-32 ? Sedum caespitosum DC. Cote III, Bar III
Flv adv fls. Castell de Alaró. Frequent at northeast
site of old fortifications. Ifm IV, V Bar must be
S. rubens L (which see in Bow Cote) but agrees much
better with S. caespitosum in Cote. Differs from S. rubens
asdese. Cote: not pubescent - glandulose (quite
glabrous throughout); lvs not linear cylindricne de 10-15 mm tallies decuss (or almost), never more
than 5 mm long, very blunt & closely imbricate,
attached near upper surface as in variant of pouch
at base beneath. Cymes few fls - about 3-6. Perls in
5's. Petals not aristate but simply acuminate.
The red sepals (now everywhere widely spreading)
appear more like stars than "cupse". Carpels (20x) ↓
show a little tubercular effect only at very base
& show trace of what may develop into valves
