Fls 8mm overall. Covello's meplant yellowish; anthers pale bluek-pur. iale. 4/18-32 Medicago arabica All. Ku II 75, BVH III = M.— Huds. A 5/10, BING P 404. = M. maculata Willd. Bas 117, Bon 75, Cote I 325 Fl. in old water tanks Castille de Alaro' only 1 plant seen. Sts reddish with a spreading pub. escence more obvious than bodies suggest. L fts 10x/3 mm (making broader effect than usual in M.); small blackspot very distinct. Vegpale shorter than the very those bed. 4/18-32? Medicago test. Fl. Field east of Orient lot spring & path down from C. de Alaro'. 1 plant only noticed. Lfthrobate hairs become the threads for peduncles longer than for years 6-10 fls making more globular effect than usual in M. Sts low peduncles only & def. pub. not just spreading hairs but not at all glandular. Sts spreading decumbent and reddish expt at tips. L fts oblate, 15x10mm, finely toothed ators middle. Sattier flathshk or rounded at top. All but upper- most lvs tinged & veined reddish beneath.
