at base. Fl 13mm overall. Calyx 3-4mm
silby, the 2 lips about equal, the lower w/3 short
teeth, the upper widely v deeply divided about
half way to base of Calyx. (The lips cannot be
called "plus longue que le tube" Cote). Corolla a
v bright yellow. Standard equals wings which are
slightly (about 1mm) shorter than heel or standard
sometimes seems equal to heel. Standard silby on
back but wings overall are even more so (this not
mentioned in both) wings v level def fall forward
away from standard in later stages (Cote says
not). Keel of 2 petals separate at base & apex and easily
separated while length. The slender style sometimes
slightly exerted. Stamens plainly monodelphous.
Clary silby. Lules about 6.

57, BSN95, Cote I 244 Fl v sprang fl. on wall where path from
C. & Alaró comes down into fields east of Orient. Only place seen.
Unmistakable. Transverse wrinkles or separationaly
projecting flanges very conspicuous. Petal blade ± 3mm,
claw about 4mm. Intelect so claw proportionately
longer. Claw w/2 well cut edges down center as then
d. Rhodium L. with which confused.

v just as ill. (Cote I 365), the largest 15mm from tip to
tip v 3mm wide.
