11-5-30 Galactites tomentosa Moench. Ku II 503 Bas 262, Bon 174 Fl. Should be of Puerto Pollensa (See 3-4 v 3-26-30) 11-5-30 Cucurbitaceae Fl. Band along slope so of Puerto Pollensa. St trailing (pres to 2-3 ft), ridged & conspic hairy with long white spreading hairs over tips. Lvs alt, 3 in x 3 in, very deeply divided. White in veins. Pubescent like st esp on veins. Fl yellowish green dr. Stipules none at base of petiole (but not strictly axillary & perhaps only in case of upper lvs) veins 1 or 2 tendrils, rather fl for the first 3/8 or 1/2 in then dividing into 2 curling branches. Plant seems monoecious with ? fls intermixed (a. t.s. mostly male axillary closely packed at tips of st). Calyx lobes 5, narrowly linear, corolla prob rotate, the 5 lobes yellowish (perhaps striped purple) pubescent on outside. Style short. Stigmas 3, 2-lobed. Attached to base of corolla v hidden
