Lfts glabrous (except for few hairs on edge), oblate, fruncate or slightly retuse at tip, large (terminal lft 15 x 13 mm) Petioles 2-3 cm. Peduncles always much shorter (5-10 mm); not aristate. Flos 2-4, 4mm overall, pedicle short than calyx tube. Fr (a.f.s.) very loose, the thickly set spines almost at right to plane) coil (making edge look flat) probably will be hooked. Fr glabrous, coiled discharge
