1-9-34 base in acuminate, 3-nerved lobes (at S.) spreading. Pedicels usually bent near top and sometimes with very small bract below or inside at what very likely is point of articulation, but not at all distinct. Fl 3x1 1/2 mm., somewhat flattened, oval-oblong, long hairy sep. toward apex, nerves curled but the 2 dissected had only 2 mature seeds each. Seeds 1mm x 1 mm, yellow, deflexi- culate, slightly notched at base of center so that one lobe is larger than the other. St. pubescent very likely glandular. Calyx long hairy. Remains of stamens only a little longer than calyx if at all longer. This is most not O. oricis but exact decs. not found. Could it be O. reclinata in which the "10-12" seeds (Crate; BvH) had not matured. (See 4-30, 4-14-30) 1-9-31 Filago Deep plants with inflated a few fr. (See 3-14 & 4-30) To deal to determine sp. but bracts under infl suggests F. apatula Pres. Cate II 324, two method of branching more like F. canescens ford. ex germanica h.
