Transcription
O. aracnites H. O. Dom Bon 312. Agrees with
dess. But except as follows: Sepals whitish
green tinged pink with 3 (perhaps more)
green nerves - the middle one at most
distinct. Antlier column is curved for-
ward so that pollen sacs are above small
spot in lip. The beak (if it is such) is very
slight blunt v, is no once narrowed. Small
spot at base of lip is bordered with grayish
white and dull purple inside. Lip purple
brown in center, greenish around edges,
broad at base with 2 lumps, convex, notched
the edges of the broad shallow lobes rolled up-
ward, and between them from a little con-
cavity with longer hairs than rest of lip.
a tiny, yellowish green hood shaped ap-
pendix turned flat back on lateral side of
lip. Petala 2 small, faintly pink, velvety.
Consider poss. ? O. tentheredimera Willd
Note that in withering sepals turn a much
deeper pink. 2-22-30 Col by Mrs Neron Bellver
To root a ho. had sepals v petals more definitely
pink than 2-20-30 & lip generally lighter but
shape other than the same. See 7-10-30
