2-16-30 Cynoglossum Cheirifolium L. Kn# 301 Bar 325, Bon 235 Fl collected by Lucy Drew in fields bet. San Rapina & Genoa. Fr too young to see clus but beginnings of hooks or tubercles evident. Fls wine colored (none de enough to have turned purple) Scales cordla darker than lobes velocity. Low white lomentose. (See 3-26-30 3-20-30 Serapias Lingua L. Kn# 411, Bar 355- Bon 309. Col. by Mr. Neron. Bellver. Lip 14mm. wide at part, middle be comm. wide Bracts somewhat - not much - shorter than fls. Hump at base of lip inside has 3 thin tooth-like projections at its base, the grove between becoming indefinite toward the rounded front. Not good! S. occultata bay acc. to Bon whose dese diff. abgette from dese. Bar. Divid hook more less separate at very tips v lobes of lip upright v atleast partly hidden in hook which might indicate S. occultata as dese. Bar. - but note loci.
