Buck Road shortly west of Formentor Hotel just across road from our lunch site. 9½ in high, the upper ⅓ drooping, style bases purplish at base, gray above with dense corning (stucklike hairs) in scales.) Leaves obovate or lanceolate longest 1¼ in, all shorter than internodes. Effect is bract-like except that they stand at 1 to 2. Lower two sheathing at base, upper ones sessile, all acute glabrous. Flos laxracene, 9⅓ bracts at this stage as long as flo. Every not twisted and like outside (sepals/petala covered with the same scaly hairs as st. Sepalo v petala now green, more or less beaked, free. Lip definitely Δ at apex, abruptly narrowed to— at middle with 2 "gibas deep- es" which have no corresponding hollow on underside. Antlus large othicle, free or short filament, not operculate. Stigina face with thick ruffled edge below column at sides v brlay stigma has similar ruffled projections supporting base of antler (See BWH 457 for detail of genus.) 4-14-30?
