divide near base, the buds so young that I have hardly developed Bar. detailed idea. makes this ident. almost sure. (see 4-20-30) 4-14-30?? Galium Mulugo L var. cuneatum very early bud. Pollensa - Formentor. outlines with oblique channels starting about middle. St & leaf, glabrous & shining, lvs in whkls 76-7, inerred glabrous veining above & below. Lower lvs narrow. oblanceolate 19 x 2 mm. sharp pointed, with V a few upward curl parebloom edges. Internodes as long or longer than lvs. Above internodes very short sometimes .5mm. Lvs lincar to 45mm x 2mm smooth on edges. Nodes far distant at base of lvs, enough so to leave great venalve dorsal & circle. Infl. seems terminal or at 1 branches. Petals 4 or 5! and ac- cuminate tips inflated in bud as in Dumbelliferae!! (see 11-6-30) 4-14-30? ? Erythraea Very early bud Pollensa - Formentor. Almost surely Erythranaceae. v sepals 5, lvs oval & inerred as correct. Ex. E. latifolia See Kit II 283, Bar 313. Seales. BVH ill #676. Plant glabrous. Lvs rounded at base & apex.
