dorsifixed. Stigmas somewhat 3-sided, vary 6-lobed v 3-celled, many-ovuled, Clary yellowish at top, greenish below. (See 4-20+30 3-29-30 Rosea Allium roseum L. (see 3-30-30) Mrs. Neron. Bulb covered with dark dirty grown tunie v bulblets discerned only by breaking this & 1st white layer of bulb. Sepals 18+ in ligte. 3-29-30 Gerardia lingua L. (See 2-20 & 3-14-30) Cd by Mrs. Neron. St rises from oval but sirey bulb, with thick roots at base (& at above bulb, one often 1 in long terminating in oval bulb ¾ in long. Fls 2 on st. Bracts ⅔-½ in long, reaching just to or a trifle beyond base of petals. In the supplement (largest) of the lips is 16 mm wide at widest part & 9 mm wide in middle lobe. Note the 2 tooth-like projections at base of lips as in 2-20-30 v of with Bonnie's disc which say "une base"? Lips maroon, the lateral lobes very dark. Sepala greyish pink, striped maroon, upper petals darkmaroon are short ovate, with very long filiform tips which are adherent to sepals & extend almost to their tips.
