3-26-30 Silene Crenulata Whit Km7 463 BVH 65 ill. = S. inflata Sim Bar 58, Box 43. Bud "roadhome". Petals in bud imbricate some entirely outside, some entirely inside the rest overlapping with one side out & one side in (Seeded, BVH xxiv) St. to 18 in high, white or glaucous-glaucous. Lower leaves lanceolate to 3½ x 1 in, the lower ones mostly gone but seem narrowed to what might be called petiole. Infl. seems to be dichotomous cymes as in all BVH# 135 i.e. 2 terminal branches with a flat which matures before these or branches, the branches branching in the same manner at least 2 times more. Calyx at this stage glabrous, bladdery, the netted veins not strongly marked. Petals ranged at base of blade. Note calyx teeth have very blunt woolly pubescence on edges. 3-26-30 Polygala monopeliaca L Km 149 Bar 56 Box 40 Fls young fr. Bud "roadhome", 2½ in high, large sepals 6 x 3 mm (2x as long as broad Box). Clad with P. reflexa 3-26-30. Lower shoots 1mm (P.reflexa 15mm), less firm more lanceolate v acuminate close together on lower part (3/4 in) & at matured more or less distant on long laxo trailing sts.
